England coach Eddie Jones has removed himself from the conversation around the next British and Irish Lions coach claiming that both Andy Farrell or Gregor Townsend would be a better fit for the job.
Jones’s contract with England runs its course after the 2023 Rugby World Cup, fueling speculation that the veteran tactician could lead the Lions on the tour of his home country in 2025.
However, Sky Bet still believe the Aussie is in the running after releasing their odds with the Jones priced as fourth favourite at 8/1.
The revealed that the 2025 tour could incorporate a fourth Test against Argentina.
Rather than travel to Argentina, however, the Lions would face Los Pumas on Australian soil.
“It would not be possible to stage a full tour of Argentina but we are keen to have them involved and they are keen to play us.” A Lions source told The Telegraph
“A game against them in Australia could add an extra dimension to the tour.”

Will Greenwood’s 2025 Lions XV is very different
The three-time tourist has tried his hand at picking a matchday 23 for the first Test against Australia in 2025 in the Telegraph.
A near-impossible task at the best of times, but there are certainly seven Englishmen who will be hoping that Greenwood's power of prediction are perfect.
Tom Curry, Adam Radwan, Maro Itoje and more all feature in his side, with Lions assistant coach Gregor Townsend tipped to step up and replace Warren Gatland.
