Finn Russell has gone viral after fans spotted a very different version of the Scotland star online.
The Bath fly-half looked huge in a picture shared on social media.
Russell had much bigger arms and looked like he had spent his whole summer in the gym.
There was just one problem.
The picture wasn’t real.
It appears the image was made or edited using AI.
That didn’t stop it going viral.

The picture was first shared by Bath player Bernard van der Linde.
That made the joke even better. Van der Linde and Russell are teammates at Bath.
The picture soon started to spread across social media.
Gerrit Theron was one of those who shared it.
He joked: “Did Finn Russel discover the 💉 or AI @BathRugby 🤣🤣🤣”
His post has now been viewed more than 175,000 times.
Fans were quick to join in with the joke.
One wrote: “He’s always looked like that.”
Another joked: “He has always looked like a darts player.”
A third had a simple answer for Russell’s new look: “Protein only.”
Another fan produced perhaps the best response of the lot.
They wrote: “If that’s not AI then he’s had more juice than Tropicana.”
Russell remains key for Bath
Of course, Russell has never needed huge muscles to stand out on a rugby pitch.
The Scotland star has built his game around skill, vision and clever kicking.
He can also produce something from nothing.
Russell remains one of the biggest names in English rugby and is now the highest-paid player in the PREM following the latest round of contracts.
Bath also see him as a key part of their future.
The club announced earlier this year that Russell had agreed fresh terms, keeping him at The Rec until June 2028.
It should give Russell plenty more time to add to his success with Bath.
His importance to the club is also why he was an easy pick when RUCK named the marquee player at every PREM club.
But fans hoping to see the giant version of Russell at The Rec could be disappointed.
For now, at least, AI Finn Russell will have to stay on social media.
