These five players have huge decisions to make in the near future as a number of nations chase their allegiance.

#1. Louis Lynagh

Age: 20
Position: Wing / Fullback
Club: Harlequins
Countries: Australia England, Italy

Michael Lynagh revealed back in June that his son Louis, who starred for Harlequins as they triumphed in the Gallagher Premiership final, has two offers to play international rugby.

Despite his fantastic recent form, the 20-year-old speedster was left out of Eddie Jones England squad for the summer with his famous Dad revealing he’s had no communication with the head coach.

He wrote on Twitter: “Qualified for England, Australia and Italy. Italy and Australia have contacted him within the last fortnight. The RFU and England have NEVER spoken to him about his intentions and goals

“This is not about selection. There is supposed to be a ‘pathway’. How many young talented English kids are in the same boat?

“I am sure Louis has his goals and dreams – you will have to ask him. But my point is how many talented kids live and play in this country, who have represented this nation in age group rugby and are not being encourage and nurtured or even spoken to?

“Communication, feedback and encouragement. This is so important to young aspiring 16,17, 18…20 year olds.”

#2. Paolo Odogwu

Age: 24
Position: Winger/ Centre
Club: Wasps
Countries: England, Italy

The Wasps speedster revealed in January that he had conversations with both Eddie Jones’ England and Franco Smith’s Italy. Odogwu was called up for the men in white for the Six Nations, but didn't make an appearance meaning he could still play for either nation.

#3. Bevan Rodd

Age: 21
Position: Prop
Club: Sale Sharks
Countries: England, Scotland

Eddie Jones is considering handing unheralded Sale prop a shock call-up after forwards coach Matt Proudfoot visited him in training earluer this year, according to The Telegraph.

Rodd, who was born in Scotland, is also thought to be wanted by Scotland boss Gregor Townsend.

#4. Tommy Reffell

Age: 22
Position: Flanker
Club: Leicester Tigers
Countries: England, Wales

Pencoed product Reffell has been in excellent form for Leicester, earning rave reviews for his displays on the openside flank.

The former Wales U20s captain has missed out on a place in Pivac’s squad in the summer, which has led to increased speculation over whether England coach Eddie Jones will now look to bring him on board.

#5. Murray Redpath

Age: 21
Position: Scrum-half
Club: Sale Sharks
Countries: England, Scotland

Born in Macclesfield, exciting Scotland U20 prospect is thought to be someone Eddie Jones is keen on after some standout performances, according to the Mail Online.
