Henry Pollock has never exactly struggled to get people talking – and he was at it again on the opening night of the new PREM season.
The Northampton Saints and England star walked out against Newcastle Red Bulls sporting a completely new look, with Pollock now wearing his hair in cornrows.
It was spotted almost immediately.
One fan wrote: “Pollock cornrows heard it here first.”
Another simply posted: “Pollock with cornrows, f*ing hell 😅”**
Another said: "Listen, Henry Pollock is a great player but fucking hell that Lid is absolutely diabolical 🤣,"
One unforgiving fan responded: "Like a 10 year old girl after her fortnight in Spain 🤣🤣"
The reaction came as Pollock made his 50th appearance for Northampton, with the club marking the milestone ahead of their PREM opener. Northampton Saints confirmed the milestone ahead of the game.
It has already been a big week for the 21-year-old.
Pollock recently ended speculation over his future by signing a new multi-year contract with Saints, keeping him at Franklin’s Gardens for the foreseeable future.
RUCK previously revealed that Pollock was set to extend his Northampton deal before the agreement was made official.
His stock has risen rapidly over the last couple of seasons, with Pollock breaking into the England side and becoming one of the most recognisable young players in the country.
Sky Sports reported on Pollock’s new Northampton contract after months of talk about what his next deal could look like.
For now, though, the contract talk can take a back seat.
Pollock has a new season to attack – and a new look to go with it.
