Henry Pollock left out of England XV AGAIN by Steve Borthwick

The England boss has made two personnel changes to the starting XV beaten by South Africa in Johannesburg, with Henry Slade and Guy Pepper coming into the side.

However, the biggest selection news comes on the bench, where uncapped trio George Kloska, Benhard Janse van Rensburg and teenage sensation Noah Caluori are all in line to make their Test debuts.

Jamie George continues as captain, with Ollie Chessum and Ellis Genge serving as vice-captains.

Marcus Smith retains the number 15 shirt, while Tommy Freeman switches back to the wing. Slade returns at outside centre alongside Seb Atkinson, with Immanuel Feyi-Waboso completing the back three.

Fin Smith continues at fly-half alongside Jack van Poortvliet.

In the pack, Pepper replaces Tom Curry in the starting XV and joins Chessum and Ben Earl in the back-row. Alex Coles and George Martin continue in the second-row, while Genge, George and Joe Heyes make up the front-row.

Borthwick said: “We've had a really positive week of preparation, and the players have worked hard in training.

“We know Fiji will provide a tough challenge. They are a dangerous side who will demand the very best from us.

“It's fantastic to be playing at Hill Dickinson Stadium, which is an outstanding venue. There is a real passion for rugby across the north of England, and we're looking forward to experiencing a brilliant atmosphere in Liverpool.”

Following Saturday’s clash, England will travel to Argentina to face Los Pumas in Santiago del Estero in Round Three of the Nations Championship.
