Dylan Hartley’s World Cup was thrust into doubt today when it emerged that he was visiting a surgeon this week.
The 32-year-old was sent for further examination of the knee injury that has prevented the England hooker from playing since December 21.
England head coach Eddie Jones said: 'He'll take advice on what he's got to do and we'll take it from there.'
