The flanker has been rewarded for his outstanding club form with a call-up to the England squad. The 23-year-old was selected for England's tour of South Africa in 2018, before a serious injury robbed him of a chance of a first cap.

However, Willis has recovered to play a stand-out role in Wasps' march to the Premiership final in the 2019-2020 season, winning an astonishing 46 turnovers over the course of the campaign, and scooping the Rugby Players' Association Player of the Season award, the Breakthrough Player of the Season award, and the Premiership Rugby Player of the Season award.

A skilful dynamo of a hooker, and with Luke Cowan-Dickie currently ruled out following surgery, Thacker would bring something different to the party.

The 26-year-old would be in contention for All Blacks selection if he were a New Zealander, according to his boss Pat Lam. However, Jones seems more into the traditional hooker, which started when he made Dylan Hartley captain 2016.

The 22-year-old Umaga has also enjoyed a fruitful season at his club, usurping All Blacks fly-half Lima Sopoaga as the starting 10 at the Ricoh and winning a call-up to England's Six Nations squad earlier this year.

The son of former Samoa international Mike and nephew of New Zealand great Tana, Umaga has represented England at Under-20s level and now is in line for full international honours.

He is the natural successor to Billy Vunipola, or someone who can play alongside him. I would hope he has three years now before a World Cup to get into the team. There are not many better in the game at the moment at doing what he does. A future international star for sure.

He was named-checked a while ago by Jones. A diminutive, crisp distributor, Randall really could suit a renewed focus on quick ball at the breakdown.
