Kevin Sinfield has completed seven ultramarathons in seven days to raise money and awareness for motor neurone disease (MND).
The rugby league legend covered around 300km (185 miles) across the week, beginning at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club and finishing at Leeds Rhinos’ home ground, Headingley Stadium.
At 45 years old, Sinfield ran at least 45km (27.9 miles) each day, in 7km (4.3-mile) bursts.
He has said he could not have achieved this challenge without the support of his wife, Jayne Sinfield, who managed the household, cared for their children, and provided the stability he needed to focus on the ultramarathons.
