Maro Itoje injury. The Lions captain was withdrawn in the first half of the third Test against the Wallabies after failing a Head Injury Assessment (HIA).

Itoje was withdrawn at the 27 minute mark and sported quite a serious cut as he departed the pitch. The captain's armband was then passed on to hooker Dan Sheehan, as the Ireland and Leinster man took up the honor for the second 40 minutes.
The injuries continued, with Lions wing Tommy Freeman also failing a Head Injury Assessment, with Owen Farrell coming into the match just before the half time break. Huw Jones would then be shifted out to the wing, as Farrell slotted into the centres for the reminder of the match.
It went from bad to worse for the Lions' injury wards, as James Ryan was then seemingly knocked unconscious in a nasty collision. Ryan put his head on the wrong side of a tackle, as the titanic Will Skelton clattered his knee into the lock.
Ryan was immediately swarmed by the medics, as tempers once again boiled over between the Lions and Wallabies players.
Jac Morgan was called into action at the 42nd minute, with Andy Farrell tasked to further re-shuffle the deck in response to the downed player. It was a hectic stretch of head injuries, with plenty of concern around the Irishman as he was stretchered out of Sydney.
