England and Bristol Bears centre Benhard Janse van Rensburg has entered World Rugby's concussion return-to-play protocol after suffering a head injury during England's match against Argentina.
The 28-year-old was forced from the field after sustaining a concussion in Saturday's fixture, with medical teams from both England and Argentina immediately attending to him before he was safely removed from play.
Bristol Bears issue medical update
Bristol confirmed that Janse van Rensburg returned to the UK with the England squad before undergoing further assessment by the club's medical staff.
A statement from the Premiership side read:
"During Saturday's match in Argentina, Benhard sustained a concussion.
"He was immediately attended to by the England medical team, alongside Argentina's support staff, before being safely removed from the field of play.
"Benhard travelled back to the UK with the England squad, and since returning to Bristol has undergone further assessment by the Bears medical team. He will now enter the World Rugby Individualised Return to Play concussion protocol."

The club also revealed that Janse van Rensburg wanted to thank everyone involved in his treatment following the incident.
The statement added:
"Benhard would like to personally thank all the medical staff who treated him, both on the pitch and afterwards, and he continues his recovery under the care of the club's medical team."
His return to action will now depend on successfully progressing through World Rugby's graduated concussion protocols before being cleared to play again.
