Scotland international John Barclay has told the BBC's Rugby Union Weekly Podcast that despite initially planning to retire, he's having a change of heart.
"It's given me a nudge to think I would like to play a couple more games," he said. "But recruitment in rugby has dried up. I'm seeing how things develop over the next few months. Nothing is happening right now so I've got to wait and see.
"It's maybe a bit tricky to find a club potentially, budgets are getting cut, all the clubs are losing money."
He said of the shutdown of rugby due to Covid-19: "Now this is happened, I feel like it's not a great way to potentially finish, just peter out and fizzle out into nothing.
"As of now, when my last pay cheque comes in, that's it. I'm going to go from rugby player to stay-at-home dad and there's nothing I can do about it. As of a month's time, full-time baker or stacking shelves in the supermarket, I don't know."

LIST | The 5 types of rugby players we’ve all hated playing with

The types of players that every team up and down the country has, and we've all hated playing with over the years…
1. Darren, the drunk
Staggering into the changing room with a litre bottle of Lucozade and bloodshot eyes, Darren is the person you avoid at all costs. He’s a loose cannon, he’s just been on the razz, and he only turned up because ‘it keeps the fitness levels up’. He was probably a fairly good player before the booze took over, but the lure of Oceana nightclubs and cheap pints of Strongbow was all too tempting.

2. Barry, the bang average bald guy
What he lacks on the football pitch he makes up in effort. Always the guy to have a small motivational word at half-time, without realising he’s usually at fault for the things he’s said ‘we must improve on’.
Stays in the team because of the satisfying sound the ball makes on his folically-challenged head when he goes up for a header.

3. Geoff, the psycho
This guy not only terrifies the opposition, but his own team too - and his head coach.
He's picked up more cards in his time than Dylan Hartley and Owen Farrell combined and the coachisn't sure whether the club has enough money to pay the fines he racks up.
4. Brad, the poser
You can bet on this man donning a flashy pair of boots, ankle tape and underarmour - as well as highlights in his hair.
This guy's all about style and skill, tallying up the amount of offloads he can do in a match rather than helping his team to victory. Will never put in a tackle.
5. Steve, the cliche spouter
Often has absolutely no knowledge of the game, but like a 4-year-old child has been around the game long enough to repeat ‘useful’ phrases.
