Gareth Southgate employed an advisor to the All Blacks as part of his way of building up a desire for players to represent their country and emphasise what it actually means to play for England.
Owen Eastwood, who has worked with the All Blacks for many years, has also represented Chelsea, Manchester City and even Nato
The All Blacks have won three out of eight World Cups and famously have a ‘No D---heads’ policy when it comes to the attitude of their players.

He has also brought back the cap-giving ceremonies, with former internationals drafted in to do the honours.
