Ireland could be without fly-half Jack Crowley for the opening stages of this summer's Nations Championship after a rare blood vessel issue was identified in his leg.

Crowley had been struggling with what appeared to be dead leg symptoms during the closing weeks of the season, but further medical investigations have now revealed the cause of the problem.
With Ireland set to face Australia, Japan and New Zealand this summer, his availability remains uncertain.
Munster head coach Clayton McMillan told the Irish Examiner:
"Jack, I don't anticipate he'll be involved in the early part of the internationals.
"He's got a blood vessel issue in the back of his leg, which is good that something's been identified. He's got a plan around how to manage that, but it literally is just a very obscure, unfortunate thing that was really hard to diagnose."
McMillan also admitted there is no clear timeline for Crowley's return.
"It's not like a concussion or a broken arm or leg, it's something that could literally solve itself overnight, or it might take a month or two."
The injury is a major concern for Ireland, with Crowley expected to play a key role during a challenging summer campaign.
