"Steal him from Wales" - 4 players Eddie Jones should call-up after the Premiership final

Freddie Burns' last-minute drop-goal winner against Saracens clinched Leicester Tigers' 11th Premiership title and first for nine years.

Despite his heroics, Burns will unlikely recalled by England head coach Eddie Jones with the 32-year-old fly-half winning the last of his five caps in 2014.

However, there were a number of impressive performances from players on the cusp of an international call-up.

We're not including the likes of Ellis Genge, Freddie Steward and Owen Farrell as they are almost certain to make the squad to travel to Australia next month.

Here are our top performers who deserve a recall or call-up.

#1. Billy Vunipola (Saracens)

Age: 29
Position: Number 8
Caps: 61

RUCK 7/10: The powerhouse number 8 was standout star for Sarries with his impressive carrying and dazzling dancing feet helping him make well over 70 metres with the ball in hand. Does he deserve a recall? Yes. Will he get one? Probably not.

#2. Tommy Reffell (Leicester)

Age: 23
Position: Flanker
Caps: 0

RUCK 8/10: Yes, we know he has been called up by Wales for their summer tour but he's not capped yet and so darn good. If anyone would enjoy stealing a player touted as a future Tigers captain from under the nose of the Welsh, it wold be Eddie Jones.

Telegraph 7/10: "Led the Leicester tackle count but it's his turnovers which are priceless for Leicester, combining with Montoya for one at the start of the second half."

Mail Online 7.5/10: "Emptied the tank and then gave way for fresh legs. Will travel to Wales with South Africa a Premiership winner."

RUCK 8/10: Making his debut during the 2022 Six Nations, it's time for England to go all in on this Leicester powerhouse. A phenomenal talent.

Telegraph 8/10: "Big carrying game after being brought into the starting XV and battled well with Isiekwe. Strong claims to tour Australia."

Mail Online 8.5/10: "Hugely impressive first half as he charged into everything with phenomenal enthusiasm."
