Reports claim officers detained the 32-year-old after a “red flag” was triggered on his passport as he arrived in the country.
The development comes amid suggestions Hogg could face stricter restrictions, including a potential ban on contacting his former partner, if any breach of a non-harassment order is proven.
Hogg’s situation marks the latest chapter in a turbulent period off the pitch. In 2024, he admitted to a domestic abuse offence involving his estranged wife, Gillian, and was handed a one-year community payback order.
