Stuart Hogg is single again after 'shock split' from mother of his fifth child

Hogg went public with his relationship with jockey and TV presenter Mayor in November 2023 — just days after his ex-wife Gillian gave birth to their fourth child.

The pair later welcomed their own son, Teddy, in February last year, only weeks after Hogg avoided a prison sentence following a campaign of domestic abuse against Gillian.

Mayor has now confirmed the breakup in an emotional Instagram post, revealing that the relationship has been over “for a while now”.

“Now seems as good as time as any,” she wrote. “Lots of you guys asking about my situation and life recently – I am no longer with Stuart. “I appreciate everyone’s genuine interest in our life. I’m not one to discuss other people’s lives so won’t add detail.

“We’ll just say it’s just me and Teddy. It has been for a while now so I am in a position to be able to talk about our future with friends and family and those closest to us.

“New year. Fresh start,” she added. “Me and the most precious thing. Lots of exciting things planned in life and work coming up.”

Mayor, who was once dubbed the ‘world’s sexiest jockey’, did not elaborate further on the reasons behind the split, but made it clear she is now focused solely on life with her son.
