England winger Chris Ashton is reportedly ready to walk away from Harlequins and the Mail on Sunday understands he could join Worcester as soon as later today. The 33-year-old, who has also been linked with Newcastle and Northampton Saints, is reportedly hoping to be reunited with Warriors coach Jonathan Thomas, who he worked with at the Barbarians.
The winger has a remarkable scoring record in all competitions including 20 tries in 44 England Tests.
At the time of writing the former Saracens, Toulon and Northampton star was the Premiership’s third highest ever try-scorer with 86.
Samoa winger Sinoti Sinoti is also understood to have been on trial at Sixways this week and could provide an alternative option.

The Eggchasers Pod. The podcast, which is a well respected weekly podcast that airs on Mondays, revealed the link. This rumour has since been supported by The Rugby Paper and Mail Online.

According to The Rugby Paper, the powerhouse centre is reportedly out of contract next summer, and is already in negotiations to join Newcastle Falcons.
