Tuilagi clan responds to reports Manu 'begged for his job back' at Tigers

Freddie Tuilagi has demanded that The Rugby Paper reveal their source after moving to deny their report that suggested the England centre 'begged' for his job back.
A source from Leicester Tigers reportedly told The Rugby Paper: “Manu wanted to come back, but he wanted to come back on the same terms we rejected.
“We only want people at the Tigers who really want to wear the shirt.
“Manu thought we would cave but the financial crisis facing the game throughout England and beyond made thay impossible.”
Freddie, who also played for Leicester Tigers between 2000 and 2004, operates as his younger brothers agent and moved to deny the report.
"Yep I can confirm Manu had a conversation with one of the club officials on Friday night as a matter of courtesy to return his call, so please reveal your source from Leicester Tigers because I’ve got the recordings of the phone conversation or Manu is going to sue your ass!"
RUCK understands that Sale Sharks are now in advanced talks with free agent and the deal could be completed in the next 48 hours.
Two of the Tigers leavers — Telusa Veainu and Noel Reid — have already signed for new clubs, moving to France to join Stade Francais and Agen respectively.
