Wales player ratings vs France.

Full back: Liam Williams - Butchered a try-scoring chance in the first half by knocking on when he should have really slipped the ball to Jonathan Davies. Other than that, he had a very decent display, making over 90 metres and dealing with the high ball relatively well. 7/10
Winger: George North - Got caught out for France's second try; stepping in and getting beat on the outside. Took advantage of Yoann Huget's comical error to score Wales second try before scoring an incredible interception try to win it for the visitors. Certainly a memorable 80th cap. 8/10

Centre: Jonathan Davies - Untidy. Looked visibly frustrated and conceded two penalties in the opening 40. Not much better in the second-half. He will have better games in the Six Nations for sure. 6/10
Centre: Hadleigh Parkes - Offered very little in attack but stood up and did his bit in defence, making five tackles. 6/10
Winger: Josh Adams - Looked dangerous and set up Wales opening try out of nowhere. Made a total of 76 metres from 7/10

Fly-half: Gareth Anscombe - A very tough night for the kickers condition wise and missed two tackles. Biggar replaced him and looked more calm. 6/10
Scrum-half: Tomos Williams - The youngster is a threat in attack but there is still scope for improvement with his game management. Scored Wales opening try after supplying excellent support play to Josh Adams. 7/10
Prop: Rob Evans - Stood up the much heavier France back bravely and made six tackles in a relentless performance. 7/10
Hooker: Ken Owens - A strong defensive effort from the Test Lion, making 11 tackles in a all-action display. Our man of the match. 8.5/10

Prop: Tomas Francis - The Exeter man did well to stand up the much heavier Welsh pack before being replaced by Samson Lee. 6.5/10

Lock: Adam Beard - Combined with Jones well, doing the dirty work at the breakdown for the visitors. 7/10
Lock: Alun Wyn Jones - The skipper led his side superbly, making 12 tackles. Helped his side stay calm when they were behind early in the game. 8/10
Flanker: Josh Navidi - Looked really good early on, stripping Louis Picamoles of the ball on one occasion. Has established himself as an international star now for sure. 8/10
Flanker: Justin Tipuric 16 tackles in another very consistent display from the now test veteran- 8.5/10
Number 8: Ross Moriarty - The number eight was immense. Having not played rugby in the last few months he returned to the international stage and did not look out of place. 8.5/10
