England's former World Cup-winning coach Sir Clive Woodward and centre Will Greenwood have defended Nigel Owens after the Welsh referee took an extraordinary social media slamming.
Owens' performance was defended by Ireland legend Paul O'Connell, who was appearing on BBC as a pundit for the game.
He said: "For my eyes, I thought Nigel Owens had a good game."
And he was backed up by Greenwood.
