England A prop Josh Iosefa-Scott could leave Exeter Chiefs for French side Provence Rugby.
L'Equipe reports that the New Zealand-born tighthead has agreed to join the Pro D2 club when his Exeter contract expires in 2027.
The deal is reportedly already agreed, although neither club has officially confirmed the move yet.
Iosefa-Scott joined Exeter ahead of the 2021/22 season after beginning his career in New Zealand with Waikato and the Highlanders.
Standing at 6ft 4in and weighing 140kg, the powerful prop quickly became an important part of the Chiefs pack.
The 30-year-old made his Exeter debut against Northampton Saints in September 2021 and has gone on to make almost 100 appearances for the club.
The prop started in Exeter's first-ever defeat in a PREM final, where they fell 26-17 to Northampton in June.
He scored a try in that final, an impressive feat even if his side ended up losing.
Exeter announced a new long-term contract for Iosefa-Scott in March 2025, with the deal understood to run until 2027.
It now appears he could leave Sandy Park when that contract expires, with the move to Provence reportedly agreed.
When Iosefa-Scott signed his new deal, Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter suggested the prop had the potential to push his way into England contention.
"I would like to think in the coming seasons we as a club and the squad we have, and his performances, will merit him being looked at in the future," he said to the BBC.
Iosefa-Scott represented England A in February 2024, starting against Portugal at Welford Road.
However, despite establishing himself as one of the most imposing tightheads in the PREM, a full England cap has so far remained out of reach.
A move to France would put an end to that ambition, with RFU regulations preventing England from selecting players based overseas.
Provence will be hoping Iosefa-Scott can help them push for promotion to the Top 14 after they fell short in last season's play-offs, losing to Perpignan.
