Before his time in Salt Lake City, the 33 year-old also featured for San Diego Breakers, Biarrtiz Olympique in France and Tokyo Gas in Japan.
Born in New Zealand, Kurt played for the All Black U21 side in 2005, before deciding his loyalties to Tonga.
A decision he has lived to cherish, as he made the 2011 and 2015 World Cup squad and is the all-time leading points scorer for the Pacific Island country with 340 points.
