15 Stuart Hogg: Didn’t have too many chances to stretch his legs due to Wales’ exceptional kick-chase. Looked a very frustrated figure at full time. 6/10

14 Tommy Seymour: A British & Irish Lion in the summer, Seymour couldn’t really be blamed for his team’s struggles here. The speedster just couldn’t get in the game, despite his best efforts. 6/10

13 Chris Harris: A bit of a shocker for the Newcastle Falcons man, unfortunately. He’s a lot better than this display. 4/10

12 Huw Jones: Was slightly better than his centre partner, breaking the Welsh rearguard once, but they were exposed time and again in the midfield. Poor by his high, high standards. 5/10

11 Byron McGuigan: Carried hard whenever he had possession. You couldn’t fault the Sale mans effort. 6/10

10 Finn Russell: Probed and prompted his backs outside him but nothing seemed to work. Perhaps a little too much style rather than substance. A very frustrating day at the office. 6/10

9 Ali Price: Threw intercept which allowed Wales scrum-half Davies to open the scoring and it was downhill from there. Confidence seemed to go and he was replaced early in the second half. 4/10
