Scotland vs Australia player ratings as the men in blue held out for a win in front of a sold out BT Murrayfield.
Hamish Watson’s try for the Scots, which was converted by Finn Russell proved to be the only try of the first half with a James O’Connor penalty making it 7-3 at the break.
The visitors took the lead when Rob Leota crashed over with O’Connor converting, before replacement hooker Euan Ashman’s acrobatic score in the corner put the hosts back in front, 12-10.
Another O’Connor penalty edged the Wallabies ahead, but the Scots responded with Russell also slotting a three-pointer to secure the win.
