A highly versatile back, Lewsey featured on the wing in Wasps’ 27-20 European Cup final win over Toulouse in 2004 and in the centre in their 25-9 victory over Leicester Tigers in the 2007 final, but was England’s full-back in their 20-17 2003 World Cup final success against Australia.
