Rugby Pass (4.5/10): "Held his nerve to deal with a Jamison Gibson-Park kick behind in the 12th minute. His 7.5/10 first-half performance was in stark contrast to his selfishly butchered 3-on-1 just after halftime. Typical of the game-breaking blunder that has littered his Test career. Frustrating."

Wales Onlines (5/10): "A buzz of anticipation every time he had the ball, but Rees-Zammit wouldn’t have thanked McNicholl for tlow, fading pass with the line beckoning. He did have a couple of dangerous runs but needs to improve his defence and game-awareness. It hasn’t been his tournament."

Rugby Pass (4.5/10): "After a shaky start to the campaign, the objective today was for “Rees Lightning” to enjoy himself. Arguably tried too hard, making good breaks but sometimes struggling to link up."

Telegraph (4/10): "Shocker of a box kick was charged down by Alldritt which then pinned England back in their half. Ruck ball was slow. Good stutter though to make France pause ahead of Steward’s try but napping for Dupont's."

Wales Online (5/10): "The 150 cap man, boldly going where no rugby player has gone before. Jones started quietly but upped his effort with runs, offloads and tackles. Powerless to stop the Italian success, though."

Rugby Pass (5.5/10): "An awkward collision with Graham wasn’t the best start for the returning lock. Looked a tad off Test match pace, which was understandable. Better in the second half but his decision to cover Gibson-Park opened the door for Josh van der Flier to score a crucial five-pointer."
