In addition to his media endeavors, the England legend established his own men’s fashion label, Fineside, in 2011. Furthermore, he contributes columns to The Times and has authored several books.

In 2013, he tied the knot with his girlfriend of eight years in Bandol, located west of his former club Toulon, in an intimate ceremony attended by just two guests. The couple later welcomed a son.

Woodward said:

“Jonny was special and he scared the opposition. Everyone has to pat him on the back. The way he defended and attacked, he was a very special player. All of us involved in that team [in 2003] just felt very lucky and privileged to have had him around at that time.”
