Wales centre Jamie Roberts is considering a move to Japan at the end of the season.
The rich Asian clubs are launching a recruitment drive before the 2019 World Cup – with Dan Carter recently signing for the Kobelco Steelers.
The 31-year-old is out of contract with Harlequins in the summer and could be the next big recruit to the Top League

‘Japan is certainly an option to explore and we’ll see what comes of it,’ he said. ‘I definitely wouldn’t rule it out.
‘You’ve got to make your decisions for the right reasons and I’ll make a decision over the next month or six weeks.
‘I’d like to think I can play at the top level for a few years yet.’
