Cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens and the Recreation Ground will host England U20 Men’s home Six Nations fixtures in 2026, with tickets available to purchase this Friday. England open their 2026 campaign against Wales in a Round 1 Anglo-Welsh match-up on Friday 6th February (19:45 GMT) in Northampton.
Andy Titterrell’s side then host Ireland in Somerset at the home of the Gallagher PREM champions on Friday 20th February (19:45 GMT) in Round 3. BBC iPlayer is confirmed as the domestic broadcaster for the competition’s fixtures.
Northampton Saints’ cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens hosts a men’s pathway game for the first time in six years when Richard Whiffin’s Wales travel over the border next February. England previously suffered a 21-39 defeat to Ireland in Northampton in 2020, with now capped senior men’s players Theo Dan, Max Ojomoh, Tom Roebuck and Freddie Steward playing a part in the campaign.
The U20 Men’s association with The Rec continues for a fourth consecutive season and sixth game in four years following on from two wins at the stadium in 2025 against France and Italy. England’s last encounter with Ireland in Bath came two years ago in a 32-all draw as part of a first Six Nations title in three years.
Round 2 sees England face Scotland on Friday 13th February (19:15 GMT) before rounding off the tournament away to Italy (Friday 6th March, 19:15 GMT) and France (Sunday 15th March, 17:45 GMT).
Head coach Andy Titterrell and assistant coach Kevin Sorrell named their 50-strong Elite Player Squad (EPS) in September with 13 previously capped U20 players included. The recent Men’s Professional Game Partnership established the expanded EPS to enable greater playing opportunities in the international arena for those in the ‘Confirmation’ phase of the pathway development system.
England U20 Men’s warm-up fixtures for the 2026 U20 Six Nations will be announced in due course.
Andy Titterrell said: “We’re delighted to have our Six Nations schedule confirmed and are determined to make an impactful start with this hugely exciting cohort.
“Recent years have shown an increase in attention on pathway fixtures, with big occasions that have supported our players in developing their talents in front of fantastic crowds.
“I’m grateful to our hosts in Bath and Northampton in allowing us to begin our journey in such storied stadiums as we look to collectively earn our way to regaining top honours in 2026.”
