Wales injury list continues to mount with another star ruled out of the 6 Nations

Wales were dealt a blow ahead of the Six Nations with the news that scrum-half Rhys Webb has been released from the squad due to a knee injury.

The injury will restrict Webb’s involvement in the campaign and further assessments are required to establish the best course of action.

Uncapped Cardiff Blues scrum-half Tomos Williams has been called into the squad. Williams has been in previous Wales squads but is yet to make his competitive debut.

Wales kick off their Six Nations campaign against Scotland in Cardiff on Saturday, February 3.
