Six Nations Round 5 Team of the Week

15. Thomas Ramos (France)

Planet Rugby 8/10: “Pinpoint off the tee, scoring five penalties and two conversions, and also a threat on the counter-attack. He finished with two assists in another good performance.”

14. Damien Penaud (France)

Planet Rugby 8/10: “Touched down twice more to continue his fine form, while Wales struggled to deal with him whenever he got his hands on the ball.”

13. George North (Wales)

RUCK 8/10: “The winger had a memorable day as he broke Shane Williams’ record for the most Six Nations tries by a Welshman.”

12. Bundee Aki (Ireland)

Irish Mirror 8/10: “Stood up to the challenge of Manu Tuilagi’s return with typical bravery.”

RTE 8/10: “A tough no-nonsense outing from the Connacht player. He carried 15 times for 78 metres and was a constant go-to man in midfield. Nailed all seven of his tackles too and picked a lovely pass for Henshaw’s try.”

11. Duhan Van Der Merwe (Scotland)

RUCK 8/10: “Took to the skies for a memorable try, and was a powerhouse threat along the left wing.”

Planet Rugby 8/10: “Scored a magnificent try and it always took two or three men to bring him to ground. His surging run also set up the final and decisive score.”

Herald 8/10: ]”Took his chance superbly to score from an apparently impossible position for Scotland’s first try, and had enough energy left at the end to start the counter-attack that ended with Kinghorn’s third try.”
