Leicester Tigers are looking to spend money following their good start to the Gallagher Premiership season by adding more quality to their squad.
Steve Borthwick's side have a 100% winning record in the Premiership with nine victories out of nine so far.
Despite losing George Ford, they've already confirmed that World Cup-winner Handre Pollard will be arriving as a more than suitable replacement.
Check out four superstars who have been linked with a move to Welford Road below.

#1. George Kruis

  • Age: 31
  • Current club: Panasonic Wild Knights
  • Position: Second-row
  • Honours: England & Lions (45 & 1 caps)
Tigers are hoping to bring former England and Lions second row George Kruis back to the Premiership next season, according to The Rugby Paper.
The 31-year-old has spent the last year playing in Japan for the Saitama Wild Knights following a trophy-laden 11 seasons with Saracens.
A member of the 2017 Lions squad that toured New Zealand, he has said he still has ambitions to add to his 45 England caps.

#2. Tom Curry

  • Age: 23
  • Current club: Sale Sharks
  • Position: Back-row
  • Honours: England & Lions (33 & 3 caps)
According to The Times, Leicester Tigers are already putting in work to persuade Curry to move to Welford Road when the England and Lions flanker contract with Sale expires in 2023.
With England, he won the Six Nations and the Autumn Nations Cup in 2020. In May 2021, he was selected to represent the British and Irish Lions on their tour of South Africa.

#3. Pablo Matera

  • Age: 28
  • Current club: Crusaders
  • Position: Back-row
  • Honours: Argentina (62 caps)
Matera could be heading to the Premiership after playing in Super Rugby for the Crusaders next season.
The 27-year-old Argentina captain, who had a spell with Leicester Tigers in 2013 as an injury replacement for Tom Croft, has been linked with a return to Welford Road.
Harlequins and London Irish are also thought to be chasing him, as well as Munster.

#4. Zach Mercer

  • Age: 24
  • Current club: Montpellier
  • Position: Back-row
  • Honours: England (2 caps)
An article in France has suggested that the former Bath back-rower could return to the Premiership next summer with Bristol and Leicester Tigers leading the chase.
Mercer was tipped as one of England brightest Test prospects after captaining the Under 20s but he has not been capped by Eddie Jones since 2018.
