England head coach Eddie Jones faces a selection headache ahead of the Autumn Nations Series after five players picked up injuries of the weekend so far.
#1. Owen Farrell (Saracens) – Concussion
The England fly-half was knocked unconscious during Saracens’s victory over Exeter and now faces a mandatory stand-down period, making him doubtful for the series opener against Argentina.
“He is with the doctors now,” said Mark McCall, the Saracens director of rugby, when asked about Farrell’s prognosis.
“Obviously he went off for an HIA [head injury assessment] and normal procedure is a 12-day stand down. Hopefully that will allow him enough time to play in the first Test.”
Replacement: Ollie Lawrence (Bath RFC)
