Leicestershire Live: “It was another excellent showing from the tighthead-prop who may still be pushing to improve on his 95 England caps. Won a scrum penalty against the promising Bevan Rodd and was part of the setpiece that pushed the Sale pack backwards on their own feed.
“In the second half, Cole showed his skill at the breakdown winning a turnover penalty. Did concede a couple of penalties himself but to play 75 minutes in a physical battle is some going for the veteran prop.”
