5 Wales Stars Who Could Move to the Premiership Next Season

2. Mason Grady – Cardiff Blues –> Sale Sharks

The dynamic Mason Grady made his Wales debut against England, and proved to be a handful for Steve Borthwick’s side. Unpredictable in attack, Grady combines a powerful first step to explode into contact, and the tactical prowess to keep the ball alive. Sale Sharks would benefit from signing of the centre, as they expect the departure of Manu Tuilagi.

Tuilagi is linked with a move to France come the end of the season, with Parisians Racing 92 leading the fight for his signature. There will be a sizeable gap in the Sharks midfield when the England international leaves, and 20-year-old Grady would be the perfect replacement at the AJ Bell.

Fast-tracked into the Wales team by Warren Gatland, Grady has been impressing week after week at Cardiff Arms Park. A complete midfielder, Grady would suit Sale’s flashy yet hard-hitting attack, linking up with George Ford for an Anglo-Welsh partnership. A competent defender, Grady would also suit Sale’s northern grit in the tackle.
