£625 a minute: The crazy wage Danny Cipriani will get at his new club

England outcast Danny Cipriani is set to be offered a £50,000-a-game contract in Japan next season when he leaves Wasps.

The Mail on Sunday has reported this morning that two Top League sides want to sign the No10 when his Wasps deal expires in May.

They are expected to make bids of half-a-million pounds for the 30-year-old for the 2018-19 campaign.

Due to hosting the World Cup, Japan’s domestic competition has been cut from 15 to 10 games — making the move particularly prolific.

Former All Blacks fly-half Dan Carter has already signed for the Kobe Steelers and Wales centre Jamie Roberts has also received interest.
