“A fantastic talent” – England hopeful extends his contract with Northampton Saints

Northampton Saints are thrilled to announce the contract extension of Fraser Dingwall with the Club.

The dynamic English center, aged just 24, has already amassed an impressive 115 appearances in the iconic Black, Green, and Gold colors, showcasing his prowess with 23 tries and a personal points tally of 115 for Saints.

Dingwall’s journey with Northampton began a decade ago, evolving through the ranks of the junior and senior Academy at cinch Stadium, Franklin’s Gardens. His full debut against Leicester Tigers at Twickenham Stadium in 2018 marked the start of a remarkable trajectory.

The 2019/20 season saw him clinch the Club’s Young Player of the Season award, and since breaking into the first team, he has donned the captain’s armband on multiple occasions, with his leadership debut in 2022.

“The group we have here is also special, both the players and the staff. I feel like, this year especially, we’re really pushing on towards winning some trophies. I’m also enjoying taking a leadership role within the squad and trying to give what I can to help the players around me.

“The coaching team here is really, really impressive and I couldn’t see anywhere else that I’d develop more as a player – you can see that in so many of the players that come into the environment (via the Academy or from other clubs) and make big improvements to their game.”
