Legendary coach Sir Ian McGeechan has named five English youngster that he believes have the potential to lead Eddie Jones side into the next generation.
Knighted in the 2010 New Year’s Honours List, the former Lions coach is distinguished as one of Rugby’s most popular and well regarded figures.
And now the 75-year-old, who remains as enthusiastic and passionate for the game as ever, had his say on the most exciting talent on the cusp of breaking through to the England set-up with also a mention for an All Blacks legends son.

McGeechan wrote: “Freeman is my one to watch. A talented footballer and prolific finisher who can play anywhere in the back three, he runs outstanding lines, has good hands, and wonderful distribution skills.
“He’s strong under the high ball, has good game awareness and a strong work ethic – in fact it’s difficult to see any obvious weaknesses in the 20-year-old’s game.”
