England rugby star Joe Marchant is dating Premier League legend Alan Shearer’s daughter, Hollie Shearer.
The pair have been dating since January 2022, and this week have been celebrating their second year anniversary.
She wrote on Instagram: “Two years with you.”
Her following has been growing – thanks for her music, she has amassed more than 80,000 followers on Instagram.
Popular Match of the Day pundit Alan Shearer had a brilliant response when asked about his daughter’s relationship with Marchant.
Marchant and Hollie frequently share pictures of each other online, attending weddings, on holidays or at sporting games.
Since the relationship, Marchant is closer to goalscorer legend Shearer, who previously said that his daughter has taken a keener interest in rugby, rather than football.
He previously joked – when asked about their relationship – that he’s happy with his daughter’s choice of man, saying: “I’m just glad it’s not a footballer.”
Shearer is a former professional football player who is widely regarded as one of the best strikers of all time. The Mirror reports that he scored 30 times for the Three Lions to go alongside the 260 goals he scored in the Premier League, winning the title with Blackburn Rovers in 1995.
