Anthony Watson leaving Bath in latest blow for the club

A report in the Telegraph today suggests Anthony Watson is heading towards the exit door at Bath.

The England and Lions wing has made up his mind to leave the Rec, who have lost 12 straight games in all competition and sit bottom of the Gallagher Premiership, when his contract expires in the summer.

Despite significant interest from London Irish and Wasps according to RUCK Sources, the 27-year-old has not yet committed to joining another club which is likely to spark a scramble for his signature.

The Telegraph has also reported that ‘Watson has a host of admirers among Top 14 clubs, for whom money is no issue’.

With Wales No 8 Taulupe Faletau joining Cardiff Blues, Bath will be losing both their British & Irish Lions in the summer.

Farrell and Tuilagi latest — England Six Nations injury news

England will kick off their 2022 Six Nations with a tough trip to Scotland – but who will be available to head coach Eddie Jones?

#1. Manu Tuilagi

The powerhouse centre was initially thought to be in danger of missing the entire championship, amid fears he would need an operation on his hamstring.

But the Cheshire club’s director of rugby, Alex Sanderson, said: ‘We have talked about him for the Leicester game before the Six Nations (on January 30).

‘That is obviously a big game for him, but we’re hoping to get him back a week or two before that.’
