Former England international and Telegraph columnist Austin Healey has baffled supporters with his selection to take on Argentina in the third match of the pool stage.
Never afraid of upsetting the apple cart, the 45-year-old has made some bold selections, most notably leaving out powerhouse centre Manu Tuilagi.
You can read Healey’s full article here, where he goes into detail about all of his selections.
Healey’s XV to face Argentina:
Fullback: Anthony Watson
Winger: Joe Cokanasiga
Centre: Jonathan Joseph
“No Tuilagi? Well, no. I do not think he can play five games back-to-back, which England need him to do to win the World Cup.” said Healey.
This sort of make sense but after the disaster that was the 2015 Rugby World Cup, England surely should go full strength to make sure they get out o the pool first and foremost.
