Autumn Nations Cup Team of the week | Round 2

It’s that time of the week where we compile our dream side from the weekend’s action, here is RUCK’S Autumn Nations Cup Team of the Week for round two:

15. Liam Williams (Wales) - Back in his favoured position of full-back, he seemed on a mission to run the legs off Georgia throughout. He made a lot of metres and gave Wales a dash of X factor.

14. Louis Reez-Zammit (Wales) - A first Test start for the teenager, and surely the first of many Wales caps. Claimed his first try at this level with a nice finish and put in a gliding run that saw him bewilder the Georgian defence.

11. Jonny May (England) - Hadn’t touched down for England since February but clambered above Keenan before producing one from his 22 for the scrapbook.

13. Virimi Vakatawa (France) - The powerhouse centre bullied his way through for the only try of the contest at Murrayfield. He made 81 metres from his 8 carries.

12. Gael Fickou (France) - The co-captain was industrious and showed great leadership within a young backline throughout at Murrayfield. Made a lovely little inside pass in the build up to Vakatawa's try.

10. Callum Sheedy (Wales) - New to Test rugby, but it didn’t look it. Throughout, there was a whiff of calm authority about him.

9. Antoine Dupont (France) - The Six Nations player of the tournament ran the show for les Bleus once again. He's the best in the world at what he does.

1. Mako Vunipola (England) - Got through a huge amount of work and one hit on Stander had teammates yelping in delight.

2. Jamie George (England) - Continued to accelerate ahead of his rivals for the Lions hooking duties with a tidy afternoon.

3. Samson Lee (Wales) - Up against the world-rated Mikheil Nariashvili in the scrums, but didn’t seem overly fazed — far from it, with Lee forcing a penalty or two out of his renowned opponent.

4. Maro Itoje (England) - Another exceptional performance. Trademark turnover near his own line with Ireland threatening.

5. Joe Launchbury (England) - The lock is playing the best rugby of his career and will take some shifting out of this side.

6. Tom Curry (England) - He and Underhill have been called kamikaze kids and Duracell bunnies and they lived up to both billings. 8

7. Sam Underhill (England). -Thought he had a try but while it was disallowed, it was typical of his refusal to give Ireland any breathing space. 19 tackles.

8. Aaron Wainwright (Wales) - The official man of the match, the Dragon was also good in defence. His effort will give Wayne Pivac something to think about when he sits down to select his side to face England.
