Dominic Day

The imposing 6ft 6in and 18st lock Dominic Day didn’t make his international debut for Wales until 2015. Aged 29, he was named in the starting line-up for Wales in their first World Cup warm-up match versus Ireland on 8 August, where the men in red were disappointingly beaten 35-21 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. He has remained part of Warren Gatland’s 38-man squad, which will be cut to 31 on August 31st.

Former Argentina Captain Agustin Pichot made a try-scoring debut for the Pumas against Australia in 1995. He then in a terrific career went on to make 71 Test caps up until 2008, playing in three world cups. The vibrant scrum-half first Skippered the side in 2000 and is most remembered for his major contribution to his country’s third-place finish at the World Cup in 2007. Pichot was then inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame alongside 18 other key figures in the history of the Rugby World Cup.
