Scotland centre Duncan Taylor travelled extensively during his childhood and could have qualified for Australia. However, the back stuck to his roots and pledged his allegiance to his homeland. Following his impressive performances during the 2012/2013 season he was rewarded with his first call-up to the senior Scotland squad for their summer tour of South Africa and has since amassed 12 Test caps. The 26-year old however missed out on Vern Cotter’s final 31-man World Cup squad due to injury.

England’s current playmaker Ben Youngs has made 51 Test caps for the men in white since making his international bow in 2010. Son of former England international Nick Youngs, Ben has spent his entire club career at Leicester Tigers, where he has been since an early age. He was part of England’s poor display at the Rugby World Cup in 2011. Nevertheless, he has since gone from strength to strength, and was included in the British and Irish Lions squad that toured Australia in 2013, where he would make two appearances. He is now Stuart Lancaster’s first choice scrum-half for the upcoming World Cup.
