Alan Brew

Winger Alan Brew had represented Wales on the U16, U18 and U21 stage before he was eventually called into Wales’s squad to make his senior debut during the Six Nations Championship in 2007. Brew was named in the preliminary squad for the World Cup later that year but didn’t make the final cut, but he was named in the squad four year’s later in New Zealand in 2011. In total, he has made nine caps for Wales, scoring three tries.

Grant Gilchrist

The powerful, hard-hitting lock Grant Gilchrist made his first full Test appearance for Scotland against France during the Six Nations Championship in 2013 at the Stade de France, aged only 22. Two years later he Captained Scotland for the first time against Argentina in June 2014, having touched down his first international try a week prior against Canada. Injury troubles in the form of a broken forearm, however, have followed, and the Skipper now faces a race against time to be fit for the World Cup this Autumn.

Waratahs’ tight-head prop Paddy Ryan is on the edge of the Wallabies Test side after an impressive campaign in Super Rugby. The highly rated scrummager made his international bow against France in the first match of the Wallabies Spring Tour in 2012. In doing so, the powerful forward became the 866th Wallaby, and he has since made a further two Test appearances.
