BREAKING: Jack Nowell confirms next club as Exeter exodus continues

Exeter Chiefs wing Jack Nowell will become the latest England star to depart the Premiership after agreeing a deal to move to the Top 14.

According to The Telegraph, he has signed a contract that means he will join European champions La Rochelle this summer.

Luke Cowan-Dickie, Sam Simmonds, and Harry Williams have already confirmed they would be departing from Sandy Park to join French teams, becoming the latest English rugby talents to leave the Premiership for the Top 14.

Joining them are David Ribbans from Northampton Saints and Joe Marchant from Harlequins, who have also signed contracts with French clubs.

Furthermore, rumors suggest that Racing 92 has made an offer to Saracens’ No. 8, Billy Vunipola.

#1. Ehren Painter

According to The Rugby Paper, Chiefs’ Director of Rugby, Rob Baxter, may adhere to his existing approach of recruiting players with potential for development when seeking a replacement for Williams.

The reported target for the role is Northampton’s 24-year-old powerhouse Painter, who weighs a stunning 21 stone.

Born in London, Painter represented England at age-grade level. Having played for England Under-16s, Under-17s, and Under-18s, he was selected for the Under-20s for the Six Nations and World Rugby Under-20s Championships in France in 2018.
