The two, who had only recently met, are set to grace the dancefloor together for a festive special airing on Christmas Day.

Danny is among the six stars participating in this year’s Strictly Christmas Special, alongside Keisha Buchanan, Tillie Amartey, Sally Nugent, Dan Snow, and Jamie Borthwick.

Expressing his unexpected journey onto Strictly, Danny shared, “I’ve always enjoyed the concept of Strictly Come Dancing; it wasn’t something I ever thought I’d do.

“After addressing my own ideas and beliefs, I am very much looking forward to expressing myself through dance with no limitations.

“Strictly brings joy to everyone’s living rooms, and being a part of that for Christmas Day will be special.

“I just felt like doing the two-step to be honest, the Cha Cha Cha,” Danny confessed. “It was that or eating some bugs.”
