Former England prop David Flatman has clashed with Wallabies legend Matt Giteau over a high tackle in Australia’s World Cup opener against Fiji.
“Shoulder to the head. No arms. Fiji’s best player concussed and sidelined,” tweeted Flatman, alongside a video of the incident.
But the Wallabies legend responded: “Come on Flats.. he clearly didn’t go with that intention

“Let’s just talk about how great this contest is… too early in the comp for this type of chat.
“However, I agree that he is a big out for the Fijians for 60 minutes of the game.”

Shoulder or high? Shoulder, because the right arm is behind plane of body on contact
1. Head contact? Y
2. Danger? Automatically high for shoulder -> head
Entry point = red
3. Mitigation? No
Final = red
