DONE: Leicester Tigers sign back-rower on loan

Leicester Tigers have confirmed the arrival of Cardiff Blues back-rower Olly Robinson on loan for the remainder of the 21/22 season.

The 30-year-old began his career with Moseley RFC before joining Bristol Rugby in 2014 for three seasons.

The back-rower moved to Cardiff on loan during his final year with Bristol and made the move permanent ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

Speaking about the addition of Robinson on loan, Leicester Tigers Head Coach Steve Borthwick said: "Olly is an experienced player, who has played top-level rugby in both England and Wales as well as having been a part of a Barbarians squad.

"With the Six Nations seeing members of our squad away for two months, Olly provides valuable depth in our forward pack and is the type of player we want at Leicester Tigers.

"He's a tough, hard-working young man with a great character and want to learn and improve, who will add to Leicester Tigers on and off the field."

DID YOU KNOW? He is the son of former England head coach Andy Robinson
