Eddie Jones bans players from seeing partners in the days before a game

England players will reportedly not be allowed to see their partners in the days before their test matches during the Autumn Nations Series.

Their first game is against Argentina at Twickenham on Sunday. They then face Japan before more challenging tests against New Zealand and South Africa.

Jones will be looking to imitate how they will prepare for World Cup games, which has resulted in a ‘ban’ from seeing partners I the run-up to games.

“The autumn internationals will be like a mini Rugby World Cup for us, starting with two tough games against Argentina and Japan which mirrors our Pool fixtures at next year’s tournament,” revealed Jones.

“Then we’ll have knock out type games against New Zealand and South Africa – all four games will be great Tests for us.”
